About

My experience running Breadmakerguides.com has been a journey. Originally, I started the site as an anonymous writer who loved freshly baked bread but could not afford a bread machine. I hoped to someday buy my own machine and use the reviews to guide my purchase. However, rising costs and frequent electrical power blackouts meant I had to stop baking and buy bread instead.

Though disappointing, I still publish the occasional review, hoping to one day afford a machine myself. Specifically, using a bread machine’s bake-only function could help lower electricity costs versus an oven. For now, I’ll keep dreaming about the shiny machines on the market.

While my situation is unfortunate, I aim for honest, factual reviews based on research and consensus opinions. Skepticism is natural, but I try to provide useful insight into bread machines and baking. My goal remains assisting others in making wholesome loaves, even if I cannot currently do so myself. In short, keep baking, because homemade bread beats store-bought loaves.
